Dusty Hill: Did he have any health problems?
The ZZ Top have never ceased to make their fans dream. After rising to fame in the ’70s and’ 80s, the trio have always hit the roads and never parted ways. In 2012, Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard embarked on a world tour that took them to the United States and various countries in Europe before unveiling a new album. They then took part in several events (at the Nuits de Fourvières festival in Lyon on June 29, 2014 for example or at the 2017 edition of the Sierre Blues Festival in Switzerland) before embarking on an American tour which was finally stopped. Indeed, Dusty Hill – who had injured his hip in 2014 and then fractured his shoulder in 2016 – suffered from stomach problems. Dusty Hill, who had been very low key in recent years, was 72 years old.
