Was fate favorable to them? The stars of the Hunger Games saga will be back this Thursday, April 7 on TMC at 9:15 p.m. in the first part of the latest film: Hunger Games, Revolt: Part 1. If some actors in the saga were obviously already well known internationally , for others, the success of the adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ novels was a real springboard. The opportunity to look a little at the careers that Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and the others had then, and especially to know where they are 10 years after the release of the first film. Jennifer Lawrence has been rather busy since since the role of Katniss Everdeen, the young woman has had success in Silver Linings Playbook, Joy or, more recently, Don’t Look Up on Netflix alongside Leonardo DiCaprio. On the private side, the actress married in 2019 with art dealer Cooke Maroney and had her first child with him in February 2022.
For Josh Hutcherson, who played Peeta Mellark, things were a little calmer. After Hunger Games, the young man remained close to his co-stars, Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth, and appeared in a smaller number of series and films such as The Disaster Artist, the Future Man series or even Tragedy Girls. He is currently working on two new films, Across the river and into the trees and 57 seconds. Woody Harrelson, the inimitable Haymitch, already had a well-established career before his role in The Hunger Games, and it was therefore only natural that he continued on this path after the end of the saga. Whether in The Edge of seventeen or in 3 billboards, the revenge panels, the actor continues his brilliant career. He will soon be in The man from Toronto and Triangle of sadness.

More discreet trajectory for Liam Hemsworth, one of the brothers of Chris Hemsworth alias Thor from the MCU, who does little to talk about him – especially since the end of his relationship with Miley Cyrus in 2020. He played in Independence Day: Resurgence in 2016 and then only returned in 2019 in Isn’t it romantic. He is expected in the film Poker Face by and with Russell Crowe. The interpreter of Finnick, Sam Claflin, continues a fine career which has clearly benefited from the springboard offered by Hunger Games. The actor appeared in Enola Holmes on Netflix, Charlie’s Angels or in Adrift with Shailene Woodley. Side series it is to Cillian Murphy that he recently gave the reply in Peaky Blinders. He will soon be in the Daisy Jones & the Six miniseries, adapted from the eponymous novel by Taylor Jenkins Reid. Many other big names appear in the credits of Hunger Games like Elizabeth Banks, Jeffrey Wright, Stanley Tucci, Jena Malone or even Lenny Kravitz, whose careers continue without a hitch.
