It is one of the biggest mysteries of the moment. How is Michael Schumacher? Since his skiing accident in 2013, during a family vacation in Méribel, very little information has filtered out on the German F1 driver, star of the circuits in the 2000s.
One of the relatives of the Schumacher clan has, however, agreed to deliver rare confidences about the state of health of Michael Schumacher on the sidelines of the Formula 1 Mexican Grand Prix, as revealed by the daily Le Parisien. “I understand why his family and friends are protecting him because we should leave him alone. Michael is fighting, he is still fighting and we can only hope that his condition improves,” said Jean Todt.
Jean Todt “spends time” with Michael Schumacher at his bedside
Jean Todt regularly visits his friend and the Schumacher family in Switzerland, where she lives and where Michael Schumacher is under medical care. “If Corinna is present, we have dinner together, if it is not the case, I spend time with Michael but …”, entrusted Jean Todt, leaving these last words in suspense. A silence that says a lot about the state of health of the star of the circuits.
On September 15, Netflix released the documentary Schumacher on its streaming platform. A documentary validated by the family of the seven-time F1 world champion who paints an intimate portrait of the star, notably through the testimonies of his wife Corinna and those around her.
