Christmas is approaching and is synonymous with many commitments for Swedish royalty. Moreover, it is at the meeting of the Swedish Academy in Stockholm that its members went a few days before Christmas. For the occasion, Crown Princess Victoria was particularly dazzling. She was a real eye-catcher alongside her parents, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden.
This great annual ceremony took place in the old Stock Exchange building in Stockholm. Simply gorgeous, the mother of 2, showed up in an emerald green maxi dress. A beautiful outfit that she had paired with black heels and a fur jacket. As a hairstyle, the Princess of Sweden, 44, decided to go for a bun style. She completed her look with a subtle pink blush and nude lipstick. Really showcasing her natural features. As in a dress symphony, all members of the royal family wore a scarf, the star of the Order of the Seraphim as well as the family order of King Carl Gustaf.
Princess Victoria of Sweden and her family make it a tradition
This annual event is a tradition for the royal family who come together as Christmas approaches. It was King Gustav III of Sweden who founded the Swedish Academy in 1786. The aim of the Academy was to specifically work on the strength and purity of the Swedish language. Its purpose is to designate each year the winners who will benefit from various prizes and grants. The Academy also decides on the winner of the Nobel Prize and Literature.
Ingvar Björkeson is one of the winners of this year 2021, notably receiving the Royal Prize of the Year. Let us also count Lotta Lotass who received the Gérard Bonnier prize of the year 2020. Although the Christmas holidays are fast approaching, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia have a particularly busy agenda.
