Kara Alexander, 44, is accused of murdering the two 2-year-old and 5-year-old boys. She would have told their father that the children were sleeping upstairs. However, the latter decided to force entry and called the police after discovering the tragic scene. Philip Evans, the prosecutor quoted by The Sun, said: “On December 16, at around 2 p.m., the police were called because the father of the children was concerned for their well-being. He had entered the house, after having forced entry, he was told the children were sleeping upstairs.”
