Tyler Sanders was an 18-year-old cast member on 9-1-1: Lone Star. The young man died at his home in Los Angeles last June. “Tyler was a talented actor with a bright future. He comes from a wonderful family, and we ask that you respect their privacy at this time,” his agent, Pedro Tapia, told Deadline in June. A very talented artist, Tyler Sanders was on the rise and even got a Daytime Emmy nomination for his role in Just Add Magic, which aired on Prime Video from 2015 to 2019, reports Peole.

Tyler Sanders also appeared in Add Magic: Mystery City, The Rookie and Fear the Walking Dead. Shortly before his death, the actor had shared his teenage life, off-screen, with his fans. These include a whitewater rafting trip, skydiving or a day at Coachella. His last message to his followers was a set of photos with the caption: “Styling”.

“Tyler Sanders died from the effects of fentanyl”

TMZ was the first news outlet to report the findings regarding Tyler Sanders’ cause of death. The medical examiner notably published his report citing the “effects of fentanyl” as the main cause of his death. He also determined that the actor’s death was an accident. The autopsy report obtained by TMZ and reported by People therefore speaks well of an accidental death.

Recall that Tyler Sanders was found dead on June 16 in his home in Los Angeles. At that time, sources connected to the investigation into his death spoke of a history of drug use, according to People. Moreover, the police would have found a plastic straw and white powder in the room where he was found. The autopsy report also claims that Tylier had texted a friend saying he was using fentanyl the night before he died.
