The music world is in mourning. On Wednesday May 24, singer Tina Turner died at the age of 83. The woman of American origin who had been naturalized Swiss would have succumbed to a long illness, as confirmed by a spokesperson. In a statement picked up by Sky News, he said: “Tina Turner, the ‘Queen of Rock ‘n Roll’ died peacefully today aged 83 after a long illness at her home in Kusnacht near Zürich, Switzerland”.
