More fear than harm, but the trauma remains intact. On December 29, 2021, Marion and Ila, her housekeeper, aged 46 and 60 respectively, were victims of a violent burglary.
The apartment is near the Gare Montparnasse, in the 15th arrondissement of Paris. At 2 p.m., someone knocks on Marion’s door, and she opens it unsuspectingly. She thus falls on two armed and hooded men, who hasten to point their guns at her.
Tied up and sequestered for an hour
Immediately, the men made the victim sit on a chair to tie him with a cable and put a scarf in his mouth to prevent him from screaming. Pushing the door of a room to lock Marion in, they come face to face with Ila, the cleaning lady who was ironing. They threaten her and also tie her up with tea towels found in the apartment.
While the two women are tied up, the armed men take the opportunity to steal everything they can, without however waking up the 3-year-old twins who were taking a nap in a bedroom next door. They finally leave by an hour.
Leaving the apartment, the two burglars come across a 68-year-old woman, Annick, in the stairwell. She understands that there is a problem when she sees the men leaving as quickly as possible in a dark car, and continues on her way before finding an open door. She then enters the apartment and finds the two women tied up. She frees them and then calls the emergency services, which arrive on the scene at 3:10 p.m.
Investigators are conducting an investigation to find the robbers as soon as possible.
