With her 800 tattoos scattered all over her body and face, Melissa Sloan never goes unnoticed. In the United Kingdom, the 45-year-old Welshwoman is also nicknamed “the mother addicted to tattoos”. A title that suits her perfectly but which causes her big problems on a daily basis. Because if the mother of the family completely assumes her appearance Ordinarily, not everyone is of this opinion. As proof, the 40-year-old was recently refused access to the Christmas show of her two offspring. The reason? The reason: her physique deemed too frightening for other children.
In an interview with the Daily Star, Melissa explained that she was deliberately put aside by the teachers: “No Christmas parties and when I go to my child’s school, I am not invited. They told me once to go to the back garden and watch the show through the classroom window.” Fortunately, the mother of the family was able to count on the presence of her companion, Luke, who went to the event in her place: “He is going to the children’s party tonight because I cannot go since I’m not wanted. I’m so jealous that I can’t attend because I know how [teachers and parents] are going to treat me.”

But the discrimination against Melissa does not stop there. The mother of the family is constantly mocked on social networks and in real life. She also finds it difficult to land a job due to her appearance. “I still can’t find a job because of my tattoos. I can’t even go to the fancy pubs here because of that. They say it’s offensive” she admits in the columns of the Mirror. The 40-year-old, who usually gets tattooed three times a week, decided to take a break during the holidays to enjoy this period with her family.
