A young man of English origin has had a strange misadventure. He was shot in the middle of a romantic date before getting into a relationship with the author of the shots.

Everything had started so well. In early February, a 22-year-old Englishman shared on Reddit that he went on a date with a 19-year-old woman named Ellie. Hunting enthusiasts, the two young people who share a common love for nature and scary stories, have decided to go hunting in the forest. During this outing, the young man had an urge and went to relieve himself in the bushes. When he returned, he walked through the secure perimeter not realizing that Ellie was still on the lookout to target her prey. “I felt a searing pain in my left shoulder. I fell to the ground and heard Ellie scream,” he wrote.

Wounded by a bullet from an air pistol, the young man tried to be nonchalant. Quite the opposite of Ellie, who couldn’t stop apologizing while crying, convinced that she would go to prison. After gathering their things, the duo headed to the nearest hospital. The young man was quickly taken care of while the young woman was questioned by a nurse. The Englishman intervened to explain that it was a simple accident. The two Brits ended their date by drinking coffee in the hospital cafeteria. Despite this incident, they organized a second meeting, promising to have no weapons at hand this time.

The birth of an idyll

The next day, the young man returned to the social network to give the details of his second date with Ellie. Not lacking in humor, the young woman gave him a gift: lead air rifle ammunition. A present that very quickly relaxed the atmosphere. “I cooked dinner, we ate and drank a few glasses of wine and then we watched television. At the end of the evening, she was cuddling with me on the couch,” he confided. The young man accompanied the young woman home and kissed her on her doorstep: “To sum up this romantic evening, Ellie and I are now a couple.”
