New disaster because of firearms in the United States. This Tuesday, April 12, at least 13 people were injured in a shooting that occurred in the New York subway, according to a spokesperson for the American city’s fire department. This new tragic incident took place at 36th Street and 4th Avenue in Brooklyn, where an important security device was put in place.

Here is what we can read in the official press release of the New York police: “At 8:27 a.m., the police received an emergency call from a person who was hit by a bullet, in the subway, in Brooklyn”. The public was asked to avoid the area immediately. Numerous amateur photos and videos showed pools of blood and several inert people on the floor of a subway train, as well as inside the “36th Street” station.

The wanted man is said to be wearing a gas mask and an orange jumpsuit

But that’s not all. A New York Fire Department spokesman said “undetonated explosive devices were found.” The schools in the area were immediately notified in order to put the children to safety. Jen Psaki, spokeswoman for the White House, said on her Twitter account that “the President of the United States has been notified and that White House teams are in contact with the Mayor of New York”.

According to numerous American media, the police are still looking for a man wearing a gas mask and wearing an orange jumpsuit. This new act of terrorism corresponds to the 296th shooting in New York in the first quarter of 2022 alone.
