Taylor Swift is coming to TikTok! Unmissable star of social networks at the head of a community of 175 million subscribers on Instagram, the interpreter of Shake it off has decided to turn off his social presence by (finally) putting his bags on the most popular app of the moment: TikTok. Monday, August 23, 2021, the 31-year-old artist announced his arrival with a promotional video of his latest musical releases, including his Folklore and Evermore albums, but also his re-recorded records Fearless and Red, whose release is expected in November.

“There’s a lot going on right now. The vinyl of my version of the Red album is available for pre-order and I’m now on TikTok. We’re gonna have fun,” the young singer wrote in the caption of her first release. . Unsurprisingly, Tay-Tay’s arrival on the video sharing platform did not go unnoticed. An hour after registering, Joe Alwyn’s sweetheart already had more than 133,000 subscribers. A number that has continued to increase since, to exceed one million in less than a day. As of this writing, Taylor Swift is already the head of a community of 1.4 million TikTokers.

A reissue of “Red” for November 2021

As announced in her first post, the three-time Grammy-winning singer for Album of the Year will release a re-released version of Red, her fourth studio album released in 2012, on November 19. This new edition will feature 30 songs (compared to 16 for the Standard Edition and 22 for the Deluxe Edition), including From the Vault and a long version of its widely acclaimed title: All Too Well. By the time of its release, Red had sold over 3.1 million copies in two months.
