Everyone in modeling is in mourning. Wednesday January 11, 2023, Tatjana Patitz died when she was only 56 years old. She succumbed to breast cancer. “Tatjana died this morning in California”, where she lived, revealed Corinne Nicolas, founder and boss of the modeling agency, The Model CoOp. “She is survived by her son, her sister and her parents. We are all devastated by her passing,” she added. Indeed, before being a known and recognized model, she was a mother. In 2004, she gave birth to her only son, Jonah. During his early childhood, when his mother was still very influential in the modeling world, he used to follow her on her photo shoots.
If Tatjana Patitz has always been keen to protect her son, she wanted to share with her fans the main stages of her life. Thus, for his 18th birthday, she had not hesitated to share several photos of him with this caption: “Happy birthday my beautiful boy. Today you are 18 years old! I wish you the most wonderful birthday blessings. So much proud of you and what you have become. You are a kind and loving young man, a wonderful human and I love you always and forever!”
Tatjana Patitz’s son is also a model
Today, the young man will have to continue to move forward without the support and love of his mother. He is the fruit of the love story between his mother and Jason Johnson, between 2003 and 2009. Having been rocked in the middle of the modeling since always, he has without much surprise followed in the footsteps of his mother to become a model in his turn. . In an interview published in 2022, Tatjana Patitz described Jonah as her “source of happiness”.
