Sophie de Wessex’s day was filled with joy and hugs at the Charlbury Community Centre. The Countess of Wessex, 57, was able to meet the members of the center during her visit on May 17, 2022. During this sunny afternoon, Sophie de Wessex was able to sympathize with young children. The meeting between the Countess of Wessex and the students gave rise to images full of tenderness. At the Charlbury Community Center, Prince Edward’s wife learned how locals stepped up during the pandemic. “Two hundred volunteers helped more than 600 residents throughout the lockdown, as part of a support system set up in 2020,” reports the Daily Mail.
For her visit on May 17, the mother of Louise and James Mountbatten-Windsor chose a very showy dress. The 57-year-old Countess sported an elegant dress in a flashy pink color. Radiant, Sophie de Wessex accompanied her dress with a pair of beige stiletto heels. In her hand, the Countess of Wessex holds a pouch decorated with leather flowers. To complete her look, Prince Edward’s wife styled her shiny blonde hair in a high bun. Two locks frame her face with natural makeup and her beautiful blue eyes.

The children at Charlbury Community Center were particularly excited to meet the Countess. The latter did not hesitate to kneel down to speak to the children while displaying her biggest smile. The daughter-in-law of Queen Elizabeth II received many hugs from the children. A boy hugged her tenderly, according to the Daily Mail. The same boy then had fun leaning on her back to hug her one last time. To end her day, the Countess of Wessex planted a tree before cutting a Union Jack cake. The visit of Sophie of Wessex to the Charlbury Community Center in West Oxfordshire is part of the celebration of the Jubilee of England’s 96-year-old Queen Elizabeth II.
