But what idea could he have passed through his head? At the beginning of October, in the United States, in the heart of the State of Georgia, a man was forced to call the police after hearing screams at the window of a neighboring apartment. . Arriving quickly on the scene, the police smashed the door before finding… an old woman lying on the ground in a pool of blood. Around her stood three large dogs, pit bulls, apparently bothered by pepper spray.
The victim has been identified as Rosetta Gesselman. The medical examiners discovered numerous bite marks all over his body. Inevitably, an investigation was opened to try to understand how this appalling murder could have been committed. It turned out that the hounds were not actually the owner, but her 48-year-old daughter, who was not home at the time of the attack.
The dogs had previously exhibited aggressive behavior
The investigators then looked into the character of the dogs. And there… the tragedy: it was proven that his daughter, their owner, was aware that his pets had exhibited aggressive behavior in the past: namely, the killing of other animals. The pound seized the dogs and euthanized them. For her part, the daughter of Rosetta Gesselman was immediately taken into custody pending trial for manslaughter.
