A 40-year-old woman was kidnapped, assaulted and raped on Friday May 12, 2023 at 3am in Northampton town center 80km north of London, as reported by The Sun. She went through a real ordeal. The facts happened in Greyfriars, a former bus station, which was demolished in 2015 and redeveloped into housing. According to the Northampton Police investigation, homeless youth Leon Svans, 27, is the prime suspect.
The attack was reported 9 hours after the assault. The victim was able to ask for help and take refuge in a store, at Bonmarche. It is a clothing company located in Yorkshire, England. Company staff gave her support before the police arrived and took the statement from the 40-year-old woman. Concerning Leon Svans, he could be arrested and arrested.

Leon Svans is therefore prosecuted for kidnapping and rape. According to sun.co, law enforcement said in a statement that “Leon Svans appeared at Northampton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday May 16, where he was remanded in custody ahead of a plea hearing before Northampton Crown Court on June 27, 2023.” The proceedings against Leon Svans are still ongoing and the victim is awaiting the final verdict in this case.
