Zelda Williams was born on July 30, 1989 in New York City. She is the daughter of Mrs. Doubtfire’s leading actor Robin Williams and Marcia Garces, the nanny of her older brother Zachary, born from the actor’s first marriage. The young girl grows up on the film sets and soon joins her father on the screen. Thus, she plays at his side in 2004 in The Prince of Greenwich Village.

When she reached her majority, she decided to devote herself to more adult genres, starring in the horror film Don’t Look Up, the arty Were The World Mine and the thriller Luster. In 2011, she shoots a video game commercial The Legend of Zelda alongside her father. Robin had indeed chosen the name Zelda in reference to the famous saga. The young girl later appeared in the Wynter Gordon Buy My Love and Cobra Starship You Make Me Feel clips… After a foray into the teenage series Teen Wolf in 2013, she gradually withdrew from the big screen to devote herself to voxography. She thus becomes the voice of Kuvira from The Legend of Korra.

While the young woman was overwhelmed by the tragic death of her father in 2014, she remained discreet, simply thanking Robin Williams fans for their support during this difficult time.
