The singer and actress Sarah Harding was born in England on November 17, 1981. She attended Hazel Grove High School and then Stockport College, where she studied aesthetics. She did odd jobs at Pizza Hut or as a telephone operator before signing up for the Popstars: The Rivals audition in 2002. A group was formed on this occasion, Girls Aloud, which won the public vote.
Girls Aloud rose quickly and their first album, Sound of the Underground, was released in 2003. The title track, The Promise, won the 2009 Brit Awards for Best Single. With more than 4.3 million albums sold, the band is at the top of the sales charts in the 21st century.
Sarah Harding gradually turns to an acting career and joined the cast of the series Freefall broadcast on BBC. In 2012, the group Girls Aloud reunites briefly, and has its second best success when the single Ten is released. From 2013, Sarah Harding pursues a career as an actress and singer, her solo album Threads is released in 2015. She appears in the series The Jump on Channel 4, and also integrates Celebrity Big Brother.
On the private side, Sarah Harding is dating DJ Tom Crane in 2011 and then DJ Mark Foster from 2012 to 2014.
On August 26, 2020, she announces that she has breast cancer, at an advanced stage. In March 2021, she reveals to be in terminal phase.
