Sam Smith assumes to have had plastic surgery. Tuesday, October 27, 2020, in a video shared on YouTube, he explained that he could not stand
Sam Smith was born in London on May 19, 1992, to a banker mother in the City and a stay-at-home father. At a very young age, he became interested in music and joined the Youth Music Theatre before turning to jazz by taking lessons with singer and pianist Joanna Eden.
At the end of 2012, he contributed to the success of the band Disclosure by interpreting with the duo the track Latch, a single which is one of the best-selling songs in the UK. After this successful experience, Sam Smith started his singing career in February 2013 with Lay Me Down, but he did not meet the hoped-for success. The young man thus works again in collaboration but this time with Naughty Boy on the song called La La La which becomes an international hit.
Taking advantage of this wave, Sam Smith releases in 2014 his first album, entitled In the Lonely Hour, from which is extracted Stay with Me, which is one of the key tracks of the summer 2013. Other tracks from this same album followed, such as Money in My Mind, Leave your Lover and I’m not the Only One. Thanks to this dazzling success, Sam Smith became one of the most recognized and award-winning talents on the planet, winning no less than four Grammy Awards in February 2015.
