Félix, Léopold, Marie, Guillaume de Luxembourg was born on June 3, 1984 in Luxembourg. Son of Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg, he is second in the order of succession. He has an older brother, Prince William (heir Grand Duke), Prince Louis, Princess Alexandra and Prince Sebastian. After a classical schooling, the teenager left his family in 1998, and joined the boarding school of the Collège Alpin International Beau Soleil in Villars-sur-Ollon, Switzerland. In 2003, he obtained his diploma and flew to England.
After a brief stint at the Royal Military Academy of Sandhurt, the young man is confronted with working life. Between 2003 and 2004, Prince Felix went on various internships in companies. In 2005, he joined a Swiss company specializing in events in the Marketing and Public Relations department. At the same time, he continued his studies and obtained a Master’s degree in Bioethics. Since October 2013, Félix de Luxembourg has been in charge of the wine estate of Château les Crostes in Lorgues in the south of France, which produces rosé wine in particular. A true revelation, the vine has become a passion for the young prince.
On the private side, Prince Félix de Luxembourg celebrates his wedding with Claire Lademacher on September 21, 2013 in Provence, at Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume. The couple has a daughter, Amalia, born on June 15, 2014. On November 28, 2016, the family grows with the birth of a little boy, Liam Henri Hartmut.
