Olivia Newton-John was born in Cambridge in 1948. At the age of 5, the family left England for Australia. As a teenager, Olivia Newton-John possessed an innate sense of the stage and the spectacle. With friends she formed her first band, the Sol Four. Good feedback was immediate, and she made appearances on local radio stations.
