Born on September 16, 1992 in Dallas, Nick Jonas began his career as a brass band player, performing on Broadway at the age of seven in various musicals such as The Sound of Music, Les Misérables and Beauty and the Beast. His talent did not go unnoticed and he signed with Columbia Records in September 2004. He records a first album but his producers have a completely different idea in mind: to create a band with Nick and his two other brothers. After the limited release of their first album, the Jonas Brothers left Columbia Records and signed with Hollywood Records.
The success is there, their second album reaches the top 5 sales in 2007. The Jonas Brothers took the opportunity to appear in various films and series such as Camp Rock, Phineas and Ferb, and Hannah Montana. In spite of the fame, nothing goes between the brothers who end the group in the fall of 2013. Nick, for his part, is back on his solo career with an eponymous Nick Jonas album which is a great success. In 2015, Nick continues his acting career by joining the Scream Queens series alongside Emma Roberts and Jamie Lee Curtis.
On the private side, after a history with Miley Cyrus from 2006 to 2007 and Selena Gomez in 2008, he announced in the summer of 2015 his separation from Oliva Culpo, Miss Universe 2012, after a two-year relationship. In August 2018, he got engaged to actress Priyanka Chopra in Mumbai, India. On December 1, 2018, the couple celebrated their wedding in India. On December 19, 2018, a second wedding ceremony takes place in Mumbai.
