Meghan Markle was born on August 4, 1981 in Los Angeles. Daughter of Thomas Markle, director of photography, the little girl discovered the backstage of film sets at a very young age. She is 6 years old when her father works on the series Married, Two Children (1987). As a teenager, Meghan did not set her sights on a career in film and studied international relations and theatre at Northwestern University in Chicago.

She began her career at the American Embassy in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Then, caught up by her artistic fibre, Meghan turned to comedy and went through the casting process. In 2002, she landed her first role in a television series, Central Hospital, which made her a household name. On the small screen, the young actress made a series of appearances (Manhattan Experts, FBI missing persons, Fringe…). On the silver screen, she makes a remarkable foray into film, notably in Remember me (2010) and How to kill your boss (2011). Since 2011, she plays Rachel Zane, a legal assistant in the successful series Suits: Tailor-made Lawyers, which reveals her to the general public.

At the same time, Meghan Markle is involved in numerous humanitarian projects. In 2016, appointed ambassador of the World Vision association, which fights against poverty in the world, the actress takes part in a mission in Rwanda. His birth is announced that same day on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Instagram account. His first name is revealed on May 8 on Instagram, his name is Archie Harrison. On November 25, 2020, she reveals in an article published in the New York Times that she had a miscarriage in July 2020.
