Marta Gayá Hernandez is a Spanish decorator who was born in Mallorca in 1949. She is known for her relationship with Juan Carlos of Spain. Her parents owned a cement factory and a hotel in Paguera, on the island of Mallorca.

In 1990, she met Juan Carlos of Spain at a party organised in the Balearic Islands by a friend of the king. She became his mistress. Two years later, in 1992, Marta Gayá and her friends are victims of a car accident and she is the only survivor. The king misses an official event to come to her bedside under the pretext of a medical check-up in Switzerland. The relationship with Corinna Larsen wanes in the 2000s, and the monarch visits her between 2004 and 2009.

In 2011, Marta Gayá and Juan Carlos from Spain are once again close. The King of Spain abdicates in 2013 due to health problems. He then has the opportunity to spend more time with Marta Gayá. In July 2017, they are to be seen together in Dublin. In 2019, Juan Carlos withdraws from political life for good. In August 2020, he goes into exile in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates following a financial scandal.

On the private side, Marta Gayá is divorced from Juan Mena.
