Marco Verratti was born on November 5th 1992 in Pescara, Italy. His father and older brother were former footballers, so it was natural that he started playing soccer. It is in Manopello that he begins his training as a footballer. Very quickly, he imposed himself as the best midfielder of his team where he played from 2001 to 2006.
