Lucas Digne was born on July 20, 1993 in Meaux, France. Passionate about soccer, at the age of 12 he joined the training center of LOSC Lille.
He began his career in 2010, on July 27, signing his first professional contract with LOSC Lille until 2013. His first start came on February 22, 2012 against FC Sochaux in the league. On August 29, 2012, in the Champions League, he scored his very first goal against FC Copenhagen. In Ligue 1, he scored for the very first time on a penalty kick against FC Lorient on April 7, 2013, then accepted an offer from Paris-Saint-Germain.
In 2014, he is selected for the first time in the French team. He was then selected for Euro 2016 and during the summer he signed with the Spanish club FC Barcelona. His disappointment in 2018 due to his absence in the 2018 World Cup, pushes him to perform as soon as he arrives at Everton FC, with whom he is under contract until 2023.
In June 2021, he was selected on the list of 26 players selected by Didier Deschamps for Euro 2021.
On the private side, in December 2014, Lucas Digne married Tiziri. The couple has a boy, Isaho, born in April 2019. On January 31, 2021, Tiziri Digne announced on Instagram the birth of their daughter, Inhaya, born a few days earlier.
