Kristen Bell was born on July 18, 1980 in Michigan. She became passionate about acting as a child and went on stage for the first time in high school, where she played Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. She passed her first casting call when she was only 11 years old. She then appeared in numerous commercials and continued to land the lead roles in her high school productions. She then moved to New York to attend acting school. The young woman went on the Broadway stage and played Becky in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and starred with Liam Neeson in The Crucible.
Decided to launch herself in television and film, she left New York for Los Angeles in 2002. She obtained several small roles in the series The Shield, Deadwood and Everwood. She gets her first real movie role in Spartan, alongside Val Kilmer. But it is at 24 years that she meets the glory, when she is chosen to play the heroine of the series Veronica Mars. This role of high school investigator earned her critical acclaim.
After the series ended, she became the voiceover for the international hit Gossip Girl. She also landed a role in the series Heroes. Her big screen career took off in 2008 with Judd Apatow’s film Without Sarah Nothing Goes, where she plays Jason Segel’s girlfriend. We also see her in Fanboys in 2008, Serious Moonlight with Meg Ryan in 2009 and Couples Therapy. The pretty blonde is also involved in causes that are important to her. Vegetarian, she supports PETA. She also campaigned for Barack Obama in 2010.
In her heart, she was Kevin Mann’s girlfriend for five years. She is now the wife of actor Dax Shepard (since October 2013) and the couple gave birth to a little Lincoln. On December 19, 2014 the family grows with the arrival of a second baby girl, Delta Shepard.
