Justin Bieber was born March 1, 1994 in Stratford, Canada. He was only 13 years old when he began his singing career. He is self-taught, learning guitar, piano and trumpet on his own. He completed his musical training by taking drum lessons. His career took off when his mother posted on YouTube a video of a contest where he sang Respect by Aretha Franklin. With millions of views of this video, Justin Bieber then proposed new covers in 2007.

Spotted by Usher, he signed with Island Records in 2008 and moved to Atlanta. In 2009, Justin Bieber released his first single, One Time, followed by an album, My World, which hit the top of the charts as soon as it was released in North America. And already, this is Justin Bieber’s consecration. On the occasion of the White House Christmas, he interprets for the president of the United States, Barack Obama, a song by Stevie Wonder.

In 2010, the success continues with the release of the album My World 2.0 with his hit Baby. In November 2011, Justin Bieber released Under the Mistletoe, an album of Christmas carols… a release marred by rumours launched by one of his fans, Mariah Yeater, who claims that the singer is the father of her 3-month-old baby. The star is forced to deny the facts repeatedly on TV and even agrees, at the young woman’s insistence, to take a paternity test that exonerates him.

In March 2012, he released the single Boyfriend. A second single entitled Die in was released at the end of May 2012.

On January 8, 2020, on his Instagram account, Justin Bieber revealed that he was suffering from Lyme disease and chronic mononucleosis.

On the private side, on July 9, 2018, he announced his engagement to Hailey Baldwin on his Instagram account. On September 30, 2019, the couple married in South Carolina.
