It is in Chicago that the actor Jesse Williams was born on August 5, 1981. After graduating with a degree in film and history, he became a high school teacher in Philadelphia.
He studied acting in parallel to his work and in 2005 he participated in the New York Actors Showcase, a casting organized by ABC. He was one of the 14 people selected out of the 800 candidates who tried their luck. His career was then launched and he appeared in several television series such as Law and Order in 2006 and Greek in 2008.
Jesse Williams was not long before he was recognized on the ABC channel. Since 2009, he has been in the limelight at Seattle Grace Hospital in the series Grey’s Anatomy, where he plays the sexy Dr. Jackson Avery.
