Hugh Jackman was born in Sydney on 12 October 1968. The youngest child in the family, his parents divorced when he was 8 years old. His mother left home to return to England, his native country. The little boy and his four siblings grow up in Australia with their father. All the siblings go to the theatre after school, encouraged by their father who is an accountant.
