Gigi Hadid was born on 23 April 1995 in Los Angeles. Her father, Mohamed Hadid, is a real estate developer and her mother, Yolanda Foster, of Dutch origin, is a model and interior designer. The mother’s profession undoubtedly played an important role in her eldest daughter’s career, but also in that of Bella, who was born a year later and is also a model.

Gigi Hadid’s measurements, 86-64-89 for 55 kg, make her a model with a silhouette far removed from the coat rack style that has long been favoured for fashion shows. This physique is, on the other hand, the one that fashion designers have been looking for for some time now, which has made Gigi Hadid a great success. Her career began at the age of 16 with the agency IMG Models, then in 2012 she became the star model of the Guess brand.

In February 2014, Gigi Hadid appeared for the first time at the New York Fashion Week for stylist Jeremy Scott. In April of the same year, she was featured in the Surfboard clip by Cody Simpson, with whom she has been sharing her life since 2013. The waves are numerous between Gigi Hadid and Cody Simpson, the couple separating on a regular basis to reconcile a few months later. In 2015, Cody Simpson seems to have turned the page, however, since she is dating Joe Jonas.

In June 2016, Gigi Hadid and singer Zayn Malik separated after seven months of romance. They reconciled a few months later, but in March 2018, Zayn Malik announced their break-up on social networks. At the end of 2019, the couple sealed their reunion once again. On 28 April 2020, the TMZ website announces the pregnancy of Gigi Hadid, she would be five months pregnant. On 30 April 2020, she confirms her pregnancy on The tonight show. The couple gives birth to a little girl born during the weekend of September 19-20, 2020.
