From an early age, Britney had special skills in dancing and singing. At the age of 11, she successfully cast the All New Mickey Mouse Club show. There she met Justin Timberlake.

But it wasn’t until 1998 that Britney’s musical career was launched. In October 1998, Baby One More Time, the first single from the album of the same name, was released. The success was dazzling, more than 25 million copies were sold, in particular thanks to the video clip accompanying the single. Britney Spears soon followed this up with a second album entitled Oops!… I Did It Again. More than 20 million copies were sold. In addition to the title track, this album also includes the hits Stronger and Lucky. At the end of 2001, she released her third album simply named Britney. It went straight to the top of the charts in the United States.

The change in style and attitude is radical. The single I’m a Slave 4 U and its video clip are controversial. In 2002, Forbes magazine crowned him the most powerful celebrity in the world. In 2003 the singer provokes again at the MTV Video Music Awards where the audience is stunned to see a long kiss exchanged on stage between Britney and Madonna. Her fourth album, In The Zone, was released in 2003. It includes the single Toxic, which won the Grammy Award for Best Dance Song in 2004.

After a difficult period during which the singer went into rehab, a new album was released at the end of 2007 entitled Blackout. The public’s reception was mixed. The descent into hell continues as Britney stays in a psychiatric hospital and the justice system decides to place her under the guardianship of her father. After a period of rest, the artist comes back at the end of 2008 with a new album, Circus, boosted by the single Womanizer which reaches the top of the charts in several countries. The tour that followed was a huge success.

In March 2018, Britney Spears became the ambassador of the French brand Kenzo.

At the end of March 2019, she was committed to a psychiatric hospital in Las Vegas.

On the private life side, in 2004 Britney Spears got married twice. The first time on a whim with a childhood friend. The marriage was particularly brief, lasting only 55 hours before it was cancelled. Then, at the end of the year she married her dancer Kevin Federline. In September 2005 her first child was born, a boy named Sean Preston. In 2006, her second son, Jayden James, joined the family. But at the end of 2006 Britney Spears filed for divorce. She finds love again on the arm of her ex-manager, Jason Trawick. But the couple separates at the beginning of 2013. In December 2016, she makes it official with her new partner Sam Asghari and posts with him on social networks.
