Ashley Victoria Benson was born on December 18, 1989 in Anaheim, a southern suburb of Los Angeles, California. The young girl has an older sister who is a professional dancer.
Premature because she was born at seven months of pregnancy, Ashley was hospitalized for two months and almost needed a heart transplant. At an early age, she took her first dance classes. The little girl was also involved in choirs and at five years old, she entered the modeling world. She did her first photo shoots for magazines.
Ashley joined the Ford Models agency three years later and, at the age of ten, decided to go into acting.
