American rapper FBG Duck died Tuesday August 4, 2020, when he was only 26 years old. Real name Carlton D. Weekly, he and two other friends were the target of a shootout in broad daylight while the merry gang was shopping. The shooting took place around 4:30 p.m. on East Oak Street in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood, where FBG Duck used to be. According to the first elements of the investigation, two cars stopped, four people got out and opened fire, hitting the three victims, before fleeing the scene. In critical condition, as reported by the Daily Mail, the rapper was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving. He had been shot in the groin, neck and chest. A 36-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman were also taken to hospitals in the area in serious condition.
Already in June 2018, the rapper was the target of a shooting, but got away with only being shot in the shoulder.
