King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands kicked off Day 2 of the State Visit to Norway on November 10, 2021. As always, the Queen looked simply stunning in her sky blue and gold cutout gown. The royal couple were present in Oslo at the Munchmuseum on Wednesday during an event dedicated to cellist Harriet Krijgh.
Queen Maxima presented herself in a new dress by Claes Iversen, the Danish designer. This sky blue dress was embellished with several golden circles of different sizes. The larger circles were embroidered with different patterns. Some circles hinted at the queen’s skin while others had a flesh-colored lining. Cinched at the waist, the dress truly showcased the queen’s beautiful figure. As accessories, she chose gold-colored sandals and a matching clutch. Note that this is the first time that the Queen wears this dress in public.
