This Wednesday, Queen Letizia of Spain attended the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Fundación de Ayuda Contra la Drogadicción. This took place at the headquarters of Mutua Madrileña. Usually, the Queen of Spain chooses a sober and formal outfit for this type of meeting. She was an exception to that rule this time around. Indeed, the Queen used her wardrobe to support another cause during this event. This dress that she has chosen and is wearing for the first time is quite special. This is one of the models designed by the Association for the prevention, reintegration and care of prostituted women (APRAMP).
This is a cause that Queen Letizia supports. She also held a meeting with this association last year. The designer of this magnificent dress is none other than Ulises Mérida. Remember that the designer presented, LIBRE, the clothing collection during the last edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Another special collection since the clothes composing it were made by 12 survivors of human trafficking trained by APRAMP.
“Queen Letizia does it again!”
Queen Letizia is fully aware that her wardrobe is the focus of her fans’ attention. A point which she plays to her advantage since she uses it this week to support local fashion. Moreover, this is not the only time that Doña Letizia uses her wardrobe to send a message.
Recently, the queen had worn another specific dress during the visit to the Memorial Center of the Victims of Terrorism in Vitoria. Alongside her husband, King Felipe VI as well as the President of the Government Pedro Sánches, she had opted for a creation by the designer Leyre Doueil. A strong message in favor of Basque fashion.
