This Tuesday, November 23, King Felipe and Queen Letizia left Spain for Sweden. This is a state visit to Sweden that will last for several days. Note that this is the first Spanish state visit to Sweden since 1979. Admittedly, the last state visit dates back more than 40 years. Only the King and Queen of Spain have already visited the country for other reasons. We think in particular of the marriage of Crown Princess Victoria to Prince Daniel in 2010.
In all, this state visit will last 2 days and will not officially begin until November 24, 2021. For this occasion, a welcoming ceremony will take place on Wednesday November 24 at the Royal Palace in Stockholm. On the program, Queen Letizia and King Felipe will also enjoy a private lunch with the Swedish royal family. Afterwards, they will visit the Nobel Museum.
In the afternoon, Queens Letizia from Spain and Queens Silvia from Sweden are scheduled to visit the Karolinska Institutet in Solna. As for the 2nd day, many activities are also planned. These include a meeting at the Royal Institute of Technology KTH, a seminar at the Bernadotte Library, a lunch at the town hall, a visit to the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences of the engineer, a reception at the Spanish Embassy and a farewell ceremony.
Queen Letizia of Spain in trendy fall-winter 2021/2022 fashion
Not surprisingly, Queen Letizia of Spain was very elegant for this trip. She notably opted for a sober look enhanced with color thanks to a coat. Which is exactly the fashion trend of the season. Clearly, the queen recycled her red coat from Hugo Boss. A piece she teamed with a turtleneck, black wide leg pants and black heeled ankle boots.
Recall that the queen had already worn this coat in December 2017. Except that at this time, she had opted for a total red look. This time around, it’s King Felipe who completes his wife’s style by wearing a red tie.
