Queen Elizabeth II: elegant in pink despite the cane in hand

The Queen of England still had to lean on her cane during this visit to Cardiff. This Thursday, October 14, Queen Elizabeth II was seen with Prince Charles and his wife at an event in the capital of Wales. The 95-year-old Queen traveled to Cardiff for the opening of the final session of the Welsh Parliament, the Senedd. The Queen arrives on the scene aboard her royal train and receives a most solemn welcome. His arrival was marked by a salvo of 21 cannon shots. As she walked through the lobby of the Parliament building, the kidney Elizabeth was treated to a presentation of “Ar Lan y Môr”.

During her speech, Queen Elizabeth II spoke about her pride in Wales. She said that the fact that Charles and Camille as well as William and Kate lived in Wales is a “source of pleasure” for her. In addition, William and Harry’s grandmother congratulated and encouraged the Welsh for their attitude to COVID-19. Elin Jones, President of the Senedd said that the Queen “was very kind and devoted her time to meeting the young parliamentarians, members of the Senedd and the guests present”.

Queen Elizabeth is all sparkling in pink

During her visit to Cardiff, the Queen opted for a pretty pink coat. She matched her coat with a hat of the same color decorated with pretty purple flowers. Stewart Parvin’s pink coat features large black buttons. To complete her outfit, the queen opted to wear a pair of black gloves. To accessorize everything, she chose a black handbag as well. As a discreet nod to Wales, the Queen adorned her coat with a brooch in the shape of a Welsh daffodil.
