Queen Elizabeth II and her husband Prince Philip vaccinated against Covid-19

Queen Elizabeth II and her husband Prince Philip have been vaccinated against the coronavirus. The two monarchs received the first injection, Buckingham Palace announced. The United Kingdom recorded this Friday 1,325 additional deaths from Covid-19, a record since the start of the pandemic. This new report brings to 79,833 the number of deaths within 28 days of a positive test.

In London, the population of 9 million inhabitants has been subjected since December 20 to confinement, hardened and extended to all of England on Wednesday. The health crisis is deemed so alarming that Mayor Sadiq Khan has declared a state of “major incident”, involving a coordinated response from public services.
