They are completely gaga over their little boy. Last February, Princess Eugenie gave birth to her first child, named August, born of her love affair with Jack Brooksbank. And while the latter celebrated his birthday Monday, May 3, the granddaughter of Elizabeth II unveiled unpublished pictures of her husband and their son. “You are exceptional … Happy birthday my love”, can we read in the caption of three photos, the first being little August in his daddy’s arms, wearing a waistcoat embroidered with his name, while the second is a photo of Jack Brooksbank holding his son in a baby carrier, bundled up in a little hat and a soft jacket.
In the third photo, we simply see Princess Eugenie’s husband walking from behind, by a lake littered with daffodils. A photo probably taken by the daughter of Prince Andrew, who regularly likes to photograph her little family since the birth of their first child. Indeed, it is not uncommon for her to share photos of her son on her Instagram account, when she celebrated his birth, but also for his first Mother’s Day and his 31st birthday last March. On this occasion, she had even confided to having received “the most beautiful gift that one could ask for”, namely her adored little boy.
Princess Eugenie had a Caesarean section
A real mother hen, Princess Eugenie seems more fulfilled than ever with her little family, she for whom childbirth has not been easy. While her cousin Zara Tindall recently gave birth to her son Lucas in her bathroom, it turns out that Sarah Ferguson’s daughter had to have a Caesarean section because of her back problems. Operated for scoliosis at the age of 12, Princess Eugenie was indeed unable to give birth naturally, while scoliosis can make the epidural more difficult because the space can be relatively narrow between two vertebrae, even if it is not impossible.
