At only 7 years old, Princess Charlotte is already very popular with the British. Sunday, December 25, the little girl made a remarkable public appearance with her parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, as well as her brothers, Princes George (9 years old) and Louis (4 years old). She went to the Christmas service at St Mary Madgalene Church in Sandringham. After the service, many photos of the members of the royal family were unveiled.

The opportunity for the British to notice a striking resemblance between the great-granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II and her only niece, Lady Sarah Chatto. A photo showing Princess Margaret’s daughter in 1970 has been compared to Princess Charlotte’s and the result is final. Indeed, the two girls have very similar physical features, starting with their nose, their mouth, their eyes or even their hairstyles.

Princess Charlotte seems to have inherited the Windsor side

If they are 50 years apart, Princess Charlotte and Lady Sarah Chatto could be twins. Yet the daughter of Princess Margaret and photographer Anthony Armstrong-Jones isn’t the only one to share a resemblance to Prince William’s daughter. Indeed, Princess Charlotte has already been compared to Queen Elizabeth II or Princess Diana.

The 7-year-old girl therefore seems to have inherited the Windsor side of the family. In 2020, Prince William was shocked by the resemblance to his daughter when he discovered a photo of him from 1992. “Is it me? Doesn’t it look like Charlotte?” he wondered, visibly troubled. For his part, Prince George is regularly compared to Lady Diana while Prince Louis resembles his grandfather, Michael Middleton.
