Who Said Life For Crowned Heads Is Not Easy? Not Princess Beatrice anyway. Like all Britons, the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson is also confined for the second time to stem the spread of the coronavirus epidemic. As during the first confinement, it is in her apartment in Saint James Palace that the princess spends most of her time, with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. A member of the Crown, Princess Eugenie’s sister cannot count on employees as numerous as Queen Elizabeth II’s or senior members to do her shopping. A bit like everyone else, Princess Beatrice must leave her cozy nest to go shopping. This is what she did not too long ago, along with the one she married last July.
In photos published by the Daily Mail, the couple can be seen walking quietly through the streets of London, their arms laden with food. Masked, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi were seen with three shopping bags walking on the sidewalk and then getting into their Range Rover to return to their apartment. An outing all in all very harmless and banal, for the couple who are not used to sitting idly by. The lovers had previously been spotted shopping in the London branch of the Waitrose supermarket with Edoardo’s son, Wolfie, born from his previous relationship with American architect Dara Huang, last September. A royal family yes, but above all a normal family! And these simple moments, Princess Beatrice loves them above all else. A caring mother-in-law, she adores spending time with her husband’s son.
A couple of bon vivant
And at the supermarket, the couple had to buy something to spend a gourmet confinement. Because Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are bon vivant. In an interview with the Financial Times, the Italian made rare confidences about their married life and their culinary habits. “In my fridge, you will always find a bottle of Tequila (note: from the Casamigos brand) and smoked salmon, he confided. Why the tequila? Well, it’s obvious (his brother-in-law, the husband of Princess Eugenie, is the European manager of this brand, editor’s note) I always have Salmon from Secret Smokehouse because it’s easy when you’ve been working all day and want to eat something healthy. ” Rather simple pleasures for spouses who cherish their lifestyle, royal certainly, but above all banal.
