After his shock interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021, Prince Harry made new shattering revelations about his loved ones and the royal family in the Armchair Expert podcast or in the documentary series The Me You Can’t See on Apple TV +. A media unpacking that took him a little further from his eldest, Prince William. But against all odds, the latter took a step towards his little brother and wished to give him a very special gift: a canvas. To do this, he asked Madeleine de St Pierre Bunbury, whom he had met on Île Moustique and whose parents are friends with his family, to carry out the work. “He stopped playing polo and got rid of his ponies, so he asked me to paint them all together,” the 25-year-old told the Daily Mail.
Very involved in her work, Madeleine de St Pierre Bunbury did not count her hours, especially to please the Duke of Cambrigde. “It took a month to complete the project because there were 12 ponies,” she added. “I prefer not to say how much it costs, but I offered him a deal” concluded the artist, who therefore made a copy for Kate Middleton, the wife of Prince William, as well as another for Prince Harry . It remains to be seen if the latter will appreciate the gesture.
Prince Harry very busy after the birth of his daughter Lilibet
On June 4, 2021, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex became parents for the second time. Their baby girl, Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, whose first name is a nod to the nickname Queen Elizabeth II and a tribute to the young daddy’s mother, was born in the United States. Meghan Markle, the mother, is doing well, as is Prince Harry who took paternity leave to cope with this long-awaited birth.
