The summer of 2022 promises to be eventful for British royalty. The Platinum Jubilee festivities for Queen Elizabeth II of England, 95, kick off on June 2. The program is expected to be very busy for this celebration of the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign. Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, 39, will also celebrate a significant birthday in June. On June 21, the Duke of Cambridge will be 40 years old. His wife, Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, just turned 40 earlier this year. The Duchess of Cambridge’s birthday was celebrated discreetly and with the family. To mark the occasion, the Royal Palace released three stunning portraits of Kate Middleton wearing McQueen dresses.

To mark the 40th birthday of her grandson William, Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II of England, would concoct a huge surprise, according to royal author Christopher Andersen. “The Queen has something big planned for [William] and he’s going to organize something too,” the author told US Weekly. The month of June should be marked by many parties, but there could be a catch. Mr. Andersen recalls that the festivities cannot take place as they should if the health context does not allow it. “There will be big parties again, if Covid allows something like this to happen,” he stressed.

A series of festivities are planned for the month of June

On February 6, the reign of Elizabeth II of England will have lasted 70 years. Its Platinum Jubilee will be celebrated in June. The festivities only begin in June for the simple reason that summer offers beautiful days. The same choice was made for the Golden and Diamond Jubilees of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II of England. Several events are planned from June 2 for the jubilee of the mother of Prince Charles, 73 years old. The Trooping the Colour, the lighting of the Platinum Jubilee beacons, a service of thanksgiving at Saint Paul’s Cathedral… are all events programmed for the festivities.
