A somewhat bypassed confinement for a good cause. If Monday, January 4 Boris Johnson announced a total reconfinement of the United Kingdom, some regions have only extended the restrictive measures put in place just before Christmas to help stem the Covid-19 pandemic. Among these regions, that of London, particularly affected by the Covid-19, where Prince William, however, made confinement just before the Christmas holidays, and this for the association The Passage Charity, which helps people without- shelters.
As shown in a snapshot published by The Passage, Prince William, wearing an apron and wearing a mask, is seen preparing packed lunches for people transferred to an emergency hotel. “If we have learned anything from previous lockdowns, it is the will and determination of so many to do what they can to help. We would like to thank the staff and volunteers for their work at this time. “, wrote the association on Twitter.
Because we thought you might need a good news story! If we’ve learned anything from previous lockdowns, it’s the willingness and determination of so many to do what they can to help. We would like to thank staff and volunteers for their work at this time. https://t.co/9VAhL9lWAP

A first visit with Lady Diana in 1993
Very involved in this association since his childhood, Prince William therefore made this discreet exit during confinement to help the most disadvantaged. A not-so-trivial gesture for the Duke of Cambridge, who made his first visit to The Passage in 1993 with his mother, Princess Diana. Since then, he has been in the habit of giving his time to this association of which he is the royal patron, where in addition to helping to prepare and distribute meals, he enjoys talking to volunteers and the homeless. A royal activity during this new national confinement, which notably prevents Prince George and Princess Charlotte from returning to school.
