Prince Harry: what emerges from his two interviews with his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II

Prince Harry has visited the UK for the first time in almost a year for the funeral of his grandfather, Prince Philip. During his stay, he would have met his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, on several occasions according to Omid Scobi, a friend. This is the first meeting between the Queen and Harry since the shock interview that the couple, Harry and Meghan, had given to Oprah Winfrey.

Omid Scobie, co-author of Finding Freedom made some revelations in Bazaar.com. “The love and respect he has for his grandmother will always be unwavering. This trip was meant to honor his grandfather’s life and support his grandmother and loved ones. very family-centered period. This Saturday broke the ice for future conversations, but the outstanding issues were not addressed in depth. The family simply put aside their problems to focus on what matters, ” he confided.

“A reunion”

Note that Prince Harry left the United Kingdom the day before the Queen’s 95th birthday. However, his indefinite ticket foreshadowed that he was going to stay for the occasion. The prince therefore hastened to join his wife, Meghan Markle, who had to stay in the United States because of her pregnancy.

Although nothing official has been announced, Prince Harry is expected to return to the country in early July for the unveiling of a new statue of his mother, Princess Diana. Prince Harry could therefore be alongside his brother William at Kensington Palace for the occasion. Note that the two princes were seen discussing peacefully after the funeral of Prince Philip.
