He notably accuses his brother of having hit him

Prince Harry has decided to speak his truth. After speaking with Meghan Markle in a docu-series broadcast on Netflix, the Duke of Sussex is about to release his memoirs. Even if we expected new secrets, the first information evokes rather … sensational revelations on his part. A few days before the publication of Spare, the Guardian published a first extract in which Prince Harry accuses his brother of having physically attacked him. In 2019, between the walls of Kensington Palace, Prince William and the Duke of Sussex would have had a violent argument. The reason ? The Prince of Wales reportedly called Meghan Markle a “difficult” and “rude” person and told his younger brother that he wanted to “help” him with this relationship.

In his memoirs, Prince Harry claims to have given Prince William a glass of water to calm him down and said to him, “Willy, I can’t talk to you when you’re like this.” It was at this time that the husband of Kate Middleton would have lost his nerves. “He put down the water, called me by another name, then came towards me. It all happened so fast. Very quickly. He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my collar, and he knocked me to the ground, describes husband of Meghan Markle. I landed on the dog bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting me. I stood there for a moment, dazed, then I got up and told him to get out.” According to Prince Harry, his brother left the room before returning and apologizing “with an air of regret” and asking him not to tell Meghan Markle about the incident.

Prince Harry talks about his “rivalry” with Prince William

In Spare, the Duke of Sussex explains that he talked about it was his therapist, on the phone and then to his wife, who immediately saw the bruises and cuts on his back. “She wasn’t that surprised and wasn’t angry at all. She was terribly sad,” Archie and Lilibet’s dad wrote again. In addition to this revelation, Prince Harry should settle accounts with his eldest in his memoirs. “At the heart of this book is a sibling rivalry between little brother and big brother, a source told The Sun. of his birthright, has always played second fiddle to his eldest son William (…) The estrangement will be covered in detail in the book and it is not an outsider who reveals these private moments – but Harry who gives his own version of the family business.”
