Prince Harry will never cease to amaze. After a widely commented interview given to Oprah Winfrey with his wife Meghan Markle, then alone for the series The Me You Can’t See, the Duke of Sussex announced that he would publish his memoirs in 2022. In them, written “not as a prince, but as the man [he has] become”, he already plans to evoke his childhood, the loss of his mother Lady Diana, but also how he grew up in the public eye, as did his military service, notably in Afghanistan, and “the joy he found in becoming a husband and father.” However, there is one detail that the Windsors probably already dread.
Indeed, during her interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan Markle had suggested that a member of the royal family was worried about Archie’s skin color, and wondered “how the skin of the little boy would be dark “. A detail that had left the journalist stunned, while the name of this person was not revealed, Prince Harry having however assured that it was neither his grandmother Elizabeth II, nor her husband, the late Prince Philip. But on a crusade against the Windsors, among whom he is no longer really welcome with his wife, the Duke of Sussex could well reveal the identity of this person, if the mood took him to tarnish a reputation.
What title for Prince Harry’s memoirs?
For the moment, little is known about the memoirs of Prince Harry, the first draft of which could be ready by next October as reported by the Daily Mail. While he already promises to give an “intimate and heartfelt look”, The Duke of Sussex does not yet have a title for this book, which will be published by Penguin Random House Publishing, which also published The Bench by the Duchess of Sussex, for an amount that has not been disclosed. However, we already know that the profits from the sale of this explosive book will be donated to charity.
