Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attended the Queen’s Jubilee
Now the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have returned to the United States
Prince Harry was able to find his favorite activity
It had been many months since Prince Harry visited the UK with Meghan Markle. And it’s a first with his daughter Lilibet! As Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her Platinum Jubilee in early June, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a point of being there. If they were rather discreet, here they are back in the United States. And what better than a polo match to recover from such an event? Indeed, Friday, June 10, prince Harry was seen in Santa Barbara with the Los Padres team of his friend Nacho Figueras.
Dressed in a green top and white pants, complete with his riding boots, he practiced his favorite sport on a brown horse. Unfortunately, Prince Harry’s team lost their match, 12-8 against Dundee II. If usually Meghan Markle makes the trip, this time she was not present. Most certainly the Duchess of Sussex took the time to meet up with her two children. Indeed, according to some sources, the couple would have kept a “low profile” during the Jubilee and Prince Harry would have been eager to return home “feeling very depressed”.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sidelined
According to Katie Nicholl of Vanity Fair, the couple would have felt clearly apart, in particular because of a problem of placement “of seats”. “Honestly, I think they knew they wouldn’t be in the front row. And why did they leave the royal family? They left because they weren’t in the front row. I think that’s why they weren’t at the other celebrations because they didn’t have center stage seats.” For Ducan Larcombe, royal biographer: “These four days will haunt Prince Harry for the rest of his life. They have been relegated to sitting behind the Duke of Gloucester”.
