As Prince Harry prepares to unveil his memoirs, some passages have already leaked to the press. Following revelations from Meghan Markle’s husband in the book “Spare” (“The Substitute”), some of his friends would have reacted by calling his remarks “bullshit”. Still, the 38-year-old had promised his story would contain “raw and unflinching honesty”.
According to the Sunday Times, friends of Prince Harry could soon speak out against him in order to “demystify some of his claims”. Prince William’s brother could therefore find himself in a complicated situation. One of his friends would have even warned him by warning that “loyalty works both ways”.
Prince William’s friends shocked by Prince Harry’s attitude
If for the moment, no friend of Prince Harry has really turned against him, Prince William’s friends have not hesitated to come to his defense. Indeed, the second son of Charles III and Lady Diana did not hesitate to attack his brother, even accusing him of violence against him. Words that did not pass for those who know the two brothers well, explaining that the eldest had been “always there to pick up the pieces”.
One of George, Charlotte and Louis’s father’s friends spoke to The Times about his low-key attitude since the attacks on him. “It is cruel, cowardly and so sad for William to continue to take blows. He is silent for the good of his family and the country” he revealed before calling him “worthy and incredibly loyal”. Support that could become valuable for the heir to the crown, who has seen his image weakened for several weeks.
